Q.

#asktheexperts hello doctor My son is 2 months old and he is gaining proper weight. I wake him up after every 2.5-3 hrs if he is sleeping. And if he is awake, he ask for feed after every 1- 1.5 hrs. Do i still need to wake him in intervals to feed? or I cn feed him whenever he wakes up and hungry? will it affect my milk supply if there's long gap of 4-5hrs during night?

A. hi all babies are different so they have their own specific sleep and feeding patterns. so please don't stick to particular timetable and amount. feed your child on demand. if your child looks happy healthy and active, gains enough weight and passes urine at least 7 or 8 times in a day then no need to worry about anything.
