#asktheexperts Hello Doctor my is one month now but before yesterday she doesn't pass the stool only urine.Is any threat or normal

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. before 6 months of age the child may pass urine between 6 to 7 times to maximum of 25 times per day also. it may be in small quantity and sometimes large quantity but should be pale yellow to transparent.
straining while passing urine is totally normal and the child may cry just before passing urine.
the stool pattern may vary from 10 times per day to sometimes once in 10 days.
if the consistency of the stool is semi solzid to mild liquid than no need to worry but it should not be totally watery again and again as well as should not be dry hard.
no need to wzorry regarding the colour as well as smell if the above criteria is met.

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and most of the babies do not poop for 8-10 days sometimes and please give baby breastfeeding exclusively and properly and massage on baby stomach clockwise and anti clockwise.
