#asktheexperts Hello doctor, my daughter is 4 months old is having dry skin even though I give her oil massages alternative, this is clearly due to the climate. We are living in a place where monsoon had started, so can you please recommend a good moisturiser or a lotion.

Shivani jhaMom of a 1 yr 7 m old girl1 Year agoA. My 5 month old daughter suddenly developed dry skin issue and doctors said it is atopic dermatitis. As per doctor recommendation I am using Atogla resyl lotion . I tried cetaphil too but atogla is working fr me . 5 6 applications in a day is required for her right now. U can give it a try .

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. natural moisturizing factor which helps to retain water in the skin is lower in infants skin compared to adult. so there are higher chances of the baby getting dry skin and irritation as well as infection and uv raysx damage. you can apply any good brand to decrease such type of skin rash as well as decrease skin dryness and also decrease the chances of atopic dermatitis.
some good brandx like atogla, venussia, oliatum, sebamed , citaphil etc can be used.

Do a small patch test before using it entirely to your baby’s skin. Maintain a good personal hygiene routine for your baby. Consult your doctor for further assistance
