Q.

#asktheexperts Hello doctor my child is 23 days old and she is just constantly sleeping. Her sleep cycle today is 9 pm - 7am Also post her bath she is sleeping from 10 pm - 3 pm. I'm worried since she isn't getting up for the feeds and I'm trying to wake her up continuously for 25-30 mins. Kindly suggest what can be the possible solution for this problem.

A. Hello my dear parent! As long as the babies, healthy and active, accepting feeds, gradually gaining weight, showing no signs of discomfort, there is nothing to worry. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby on demand demand. Consult your doctor for further guidance in this regard.
