#asktheexperts Hello doctor my baby she is 3 yr and 7 month old. And born as a premature baby in 36 week. She has speech delays. She understands everything so well and speak few words like mama ppa bhai and other words as well. But she is unable to make sentences and unable to speak in sentences. Is it normal ? When can she speak properly like other little ones. ?

As you have said, there are certain delays in milestones, but it is alright as long as your child is healthy and active and trying to speak even some words. Communicate more effectively with your child. Limit the screen time. Try engaging your child with Babyhug storybook and activities. Get in touch with your paediatrician.
