#AskTheExpert want to know what is the difference between ( Cognitive and speech delays) and Autism? or both mean the same thing? how can one tell a child is having only Development Delays ( Cognition and speech) and not Autism?

A. hi each and every child is different so they grow at their own pace. so some babies learn some skills earlier while others may later or more lately . so the babies who achieve their milestones lately are considered having speech and congitive developmental Delay problem. mam , Autism is wide term . I mean ,it is not just problem of congitive and speech delay. it is more than this proper diagnose is necessary in this it is not that much common in our society
