Q.

#asktheexperts Hello doctor My baby just entered into 3rd month. She is having stool problem. First 2 months she use to pass stool twice a day and now she is not passing for 3 days. What can I do... do I need to change or add anything to my diet. Or can I give her water?

A. Hello dear parent, babies under 6 months of age can hold their poop for 7 days but beyond that period you must consult with your paediatric. To prevent this situation you must burp your baby after every feed by holding him in upright position and massage his back for 20 mins and 4 burps are necessary. Also give him tummy time several times in a day.
