A. Namaste Mom, Toddlers are expected to almost triple their birth weight by age of 1 and later it doubles up by age of 5 as such, provide them with regular family foods which should inlcude foods from varied food groups as such.

A. If your baby was born at 3 kg and now weighs 8.5 kg, that's a healthy weight gain, especially if your baby is under 1 year old. This suggests your baby is growing well and likely getting sufficient nutrition. In most cases, if your baby is active, feeding well, and meeting developmental milestones, no additional supplements are needed apart from the routine ones like vitamin D (if advised by your doctor). However, always consult your pediatrician before starting any supplements, as they can best assess your baby’s growth, diet, and any specific needs.
