#asktheexperts hello Doctor. iam having 1yr 19moths baby. now she is speaking small small words. abba ayyo amma like dat. and she talked herself in different languages. but she can understand everything but unable to speak. at what age baby will speak complete words.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
fuchild can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the speecfh does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .
