Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. hair loss in babies is a common condition and it may be because of many reasons like withdrawal of maternal hormone. After birth. All the hair of the baby remain in the resting face and usually by 8 to 12 weeks of age, shedding of hair is there hairs will grow back mostly by 3 to 7 months, but a proper hair growth will be there around two years of age. Cradle cap is also a cause of frequent shading of hairs along with traction alopecia because of continuous pressure on head in lying position. in older children, hair fall or improper hair growth, maybe because of nutritional deficiency like iron deficiency, vitamin D deficiency. hu
