#asktheexperts good evening sir, my son is suffering from watery stools 3to 4 times in a day since 5 days . today I have visited the next paediatrician sir he was prescribed to take following medicine- 1) Z&D Ds 20 15 ml zinc dry powder, 2) Flagyl 200mg, 3) Econorm 250mg and Dakson orl . after taking Flagyl 200mg and home made khichdi he has watery stools again. his weight is 8.6 kg having age 18 month. sir plz do the needful

Siri it is going to take some time for the medicines to show its effect on to the child over the period but right now I would advise you to completely stop giving me because milk also increases diary over the period if you do not see anything better by the time of tomorrow like 24 hours on the medicine that you started then re consult your doctor
