#asktheexperts My baby had 4 to 5 watery stools from yesterday. Is this a cause of infection? what should I do now?

A. watery stools mostly because of some infection can be viral bacterial. in loose motions baby will be losing lot of water and electrolytes please give ORS coconut water milk and zinc to the baby to avoid dehydration if the baby is getting dehydrated better to see the doct

A. hi dear Breastfed Babies with Frequent, Watery Diarrhea: Give your baby breastmilk more often. Also, give extra fluid if breast milk isn't keeping up with the fluid losses. You can use formula or ORS (Pedialyte). Solid foods: If on baby foods, continue them.
