A. Mouth ulcers or "chhale" in a 10-month-old baby can be caused by viral infections, teething, or minor injuries from food or objects. Keep your baby well-hydrated and offer soft, cool foods like curd, mashed banana, or breast/formula milk to ease discomfort. Avoid giving salty, spicy, or acidic foods. You can gently clean the mouth and maintain hygiene. If the ulcers persist for more than a few days, are painful, or your baby refuses to eat or drink, consult a pediatrician. They may recommend a soothing gel or medication if needed to relieve pain and speed up healing.
