#asktheexperts doctor my toddler son poops only in diaper and not in toilet. he doesn't like to go to toilet for poop. he pees in bathroom only.

A. Specially when it comes to boy they can urinate in the standing position so they do not have a problem passing urine but you have to make your child comfortable to sit on the commode to pass motion giving diapers is just going to make your child more stubborn and non-cooperative

Q. My daughter is 2.5 years old. We've tried a lot to toilet train her. She only tells us when she needs to pee and goes to the washroom, but she doesn't go to the toilet for potty. She only poops in her diaper. If we don't put a diaper on her all day, she'll hold her poop all day, even if she really needs to go. She holds it even when we take her to the toilet.
