Q.

#asktheexperts Doctor my daughter had nose bleeding last night we took her to the hospital. After checkup the doctor said that the reason of bleeding was that she picked her nose and then he gave some drops to put. I told him that 3-4 days back also she did same and had bleeding from another side of nose. please suggest why is she having nose bleeding so often??

A. But why is she having this so often? also how by plucking nose excess blood can come I am not able to understand please suggest..

A. bleeding from the nasal cavity also known as epistaxis. during the initial bleeding episode you dwill have to press up on the bleeding area to stop the bleeding. you can press some cold ice or cold cloth also to decrease the bleeding after bleeding stops you have to make use of nasal saline drops dto keep the nasal cavity moist and also apply antibacterial cream (tbact) over the bleeding area for faster healing.
