#asktheexperts baby boy 10 months old has black spots on the scalp. may i know what are these and what to do about them?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. your child is having cradle cap or seborrheic dermatitis (baby dandruff)
you have to daily apply baby shampoo (spoo is good brand) on the scalp of the child during thex bathing.
do not apply any type of oil on the scalp during the daytime but only apply oil at the night time.
within one week the cradle cap will disappear.

cradle cap is baby dandruff and is a type of fungal infection .

Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and it is quite difficult to say anything about it without personally examination . so it Is always advisable to consult woth your local child doctor on person and fillow the prescription and instructions after evaluation . thanks and take care
