Q.

#asktheexperts are pcv and penta vaccines same? my baby got pcv vaccine on her 1st month. if pcv is not available can she be given penta vaccine on her next due? will it affect my baby's health?

A. baby has to take both Penta vaccine and pneumococcal vaccine that is PCV vaccine Further it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate examination of the baby physically and if there is need to do any investigations if required

A. The Vaccinations are completely different so if PCB is not available then you wait for the time that the time the vaccination is not available or if the doctor is advising me to go ahead with any other vaccination or brand then you go for it but both vaccinations are different
