Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. black tongue can be due to iron supplements you might be giving to the child and it should get cleaned with your clean finger.
if it is not decreasing in intensity aftxer cleaning then you will have to rule out fungal infection of the tongue.
it is advisable to get the child examine by the doctor.
