#asktheexperts 5 days old nephew is not opening his eyes since birth. Doctors are saying that it’s normal. Is it normal?

Whether rany investigations is required or not will be told by the doctor

Dear mum although this is a natural because kids special in newborns keep sleeping all the time but yes they open their eyes when they are active so you need to keep a check on all other activities of the baby such as passing of motion passing of urine and taking feed at regular intervals are your child is crying and is taking proper sleep all these patterns should be observed
