#AskTheExpertmy son 4 yrs old he have been coughing for 2 months we want to doctor n prescribed promethazine for 5 days but still cough has not completely cure n after he took montair LC for 17 days n he got better but cough is still not completely gone he usually cough in the morning when he wake up what to do

Cough and cold can we because of some allergic reaction in the body most of the time it isr viral in the origin need to give symptomatic treatment first like steam inhalation and some home remedies cough expeectorant may be required along with anti allergic medications
