#AskTheExpert yesterday my baby had 12 weeks vaccinations and he has fever. How many days pain will be there and how many days I can use fever drops ?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. 2 to 3 days when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever r

NikithaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello pain can last for a day or 2 and any concern then check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe too and also give paracetamol fir fever
