#AskTheExpert why i am feeling soft movements of baby in my second pregnancy (23 weeks)? I have anterior placenta is that would be a cause?

A. No it is not due to placentral position most of the cases the baby movements are felt after 25 weeks till then only soft movements may be felt . so Nothing to worry about and just have regular follow up with your doctor

A. Having an anterior placenta does not hurt your baby in any way. The biggest impact it can have on your pregnancy is taking longer to feel your baby kick. For that same reason, it might be harder to find your baby's heartbeat during a Doppler ultrasound or make certain fetal tests (like amniocentesis) a challenge.
