#AskTheExpert Why does my son sleeps so less at night. He usually sleeps at 4 am in the morning and wakes up at 2pm afternoon.

A. Sleep Cycle in smaller babies is very different and they have a certain pattern initially which becomes regularize at around 6 to 8 myionths of age and if the baby is comfortable with no irritability because of infantile colic nasal blockage any regurgitation etc youg should not worry just give a comfortable position to the baby and no medicine is required.

A. room'temperature jb There is lot of individual variation in the sleeping pattern of small babies before coming to a particular sleeping pattern no need to worry about this at present if the baby is taking feeding properly and otherwise active

A. Stick to a consistent bedtime routine playing a quiet game.giving her a bath.changing your baby into her pyjamas.reading her a bedtime story.singing her a lullaby.giving her a gentle massage.tucking her in and kissing her goodnight.
