#AskTheExpert which medicine is used to dilate for normal delivery??? I have heard Many dr says vagina is not opening ( muh nahi khule raha hai) so we need to operate... but few days back one of my friend had normal delivery & she was given some pills to dilate

Those pills shouldn’t be taken randomly.
They are given under medical supervision and even if they are taken there is a possibility of a surgery.
They do help in cervical dilation but can also cause distress for the baby
