A. You should always choose to feed fresh, home cooked nutritious meal for the child from the beginning which must include variety of fluids too. There are lots of foods that can be included in kid's diet now like rice with dal, chapati with paneer gravy, chicken soup, besan and beetroot cheela, idli-dosa with sambhar, stuffed parantha, oats with nuts, milkshakes with dry fruits, fresh juices, curd, buttermilk, ghee, legumes, veg cutlet, veg sandwich, dalia, khichdi, mixed vegetable soup, chicken and fish curry and milk.
