Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. as food for the baby you can give all kind of seasonal fruits and vegetables. you can give Apple everyday .can also give mango , pomegranate,papaya and banana according to the season and requirement . avoid giving banana excessively and daily otherwise it may cause constipation. you can also give rice preparations oatmeals curd preparationsband daliya. it will be better if you are able to give dairy products daily apart from milk. refrigerated and packed foods should be avoided, junk foods should also be avoided. if you will give excessive of milk to the child the hunger may get satisfied by that and the child may not be interested in having other variety of food. over all you need to see that you are giving a balanced diet to your child with proper fulfillment of nutritional and energy requirements accordinbjtg to the age

In 8 months, there are few new food introductions you can make in baby's diet like yolk of a boiled egg, chicken soup, besan and beetroot cheela, stuffed parantha, chapati mashed in dal or milk, oats with nuts, milkshakes with dry fruits, fresh juices, ghee, legumes, seasonal fruits, veg cutlet, pan cake, waffle, khichdi, dalia, mixed vegetable soup and milk. Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks including variety of fluids.
