#asktheexpert whenever my baby gets cold or fever. he is nt breathing proprly. only wit asthalin he becomes fine. doctor said he has asthma. plz guide me what are the tests to be conducted to confirm wheather he has asthma or not.? And also what are the precautions to be taken? plz guide

A. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seahyysonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given. along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given. steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
