once baby reach at age of 6 months,you can start giving semisolid food to your child
at that time, start with liquid diet like mung dal Pani, rice water which is easy to digest

babies start crawling at age around 8 to 10 Months
and it is also normal for them to skip whole phase of crawling,so please don't take much stress for this
