Hi for the 6 months old baby you can start with Rice and dal water, Vegtable purees ,Boiled and mashed potato,sweet potato,carrot, Pureed vegetables and fruits, porridges of raw or ragi ,mashed banana ,chicoo..start with 1 spoon 1 time in a day and gradually increase.Always remember a 3 days rule before introducing new foods like when u start with something continue the same food for 3 days and see if the baby is comfortable with that food and then you can introduce a new one.

All kind of fruits and vegetables can be given to the child you have to steam the vegetables before you offer it to the child and the food should be given in the similar form as they our juices are not recommended to be given soups can be given to the child Moon Dal and rice can also be given to the child in a proper blended form
