#AskTheExpert what should I do when baby cries alot after his 6weeks vaccination. He has his vaccination coming week and I'd like to be prepared for it

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4f times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyofnd 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

NikithaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello when the vaccination is given baby cries it is normal and will be fine after few mins and there is no other option and just be sure baby is tummy full and this s something that you can prepare baby as the baby is also small and nothing can be done
