#AskTheExpert..what should do with breast engrossed?

A. I guess we are talking about breast engorgement. Use a warm compress or take a warm shower to let the milk down. Feed more regularly or atleast every 2-3 hours. Nurse for as long as the baby is hungry. Massage your breasts while nursing. Apply a cold compress or ice pack to relieve pain and swelling. Position the baby properly for proper sucking.
