Q.

#asktheexpert What should be the ideal weight of a 5 month old baby girl? Although mybaby is super active, she has achieved mostly all the milestone of her age, yet I am little worried about her weight..She is 6 kgs..Her birth weight was 2.5 kgs.

A. weight is good. child should double it's birth weight by completion of six months and triples by one year. give only breastmilk till completion of six months. start vitamin d and multivitamins supplements regularly

A. Ur Child is having more than double of the birth weight so definitely it’s a healthy weight and if it becomes three times you know that 2.5 KG becomes three times by the age of 12 months then it would be an ideal weight gain for 12 months also but looking at the current weight your child will have a much better weight by the age of 12 months
