#AskTheExpert what should be the bathing water temperature of 7 months old baby and how frequent can we give head bath to the baby. also let me know tips to avoid water going into ear while bathing that cause ear infection.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. water temperature is not too hot or cold.
Try to distract her with few bath toys,try to put water slowly on the head, cover her ears, put a hand on her forehead so that water does not gush down on her face and finally remove water from her face. Or Instead of pouring water directly on head and face, take water in your hand and put it to clean up head and face. can give head bath 2 to 3vtimes a week

Water should be be lukewarm neither hot nor cold. U can give head bath daily or on alternative days or after 2-3 days. All is OK as per ur comfort level.
U can use babyhug shower cap or any other brand to help give head bath to ur baby.
