no need to give any medicine without the prescription of the doctor but definitely you can treat the cold at home itself
cold and cough can be reduced with simple home remedies, few among them are below , try only one at a time.
Ginger juice and betel leaf juice and honey which is best for the cold.
another one is take a cup of water along with betel leaves, indian borage leaves, and tulsi leaves , all washed nicely before use.add little peppercorns, boil it nicely until the water is reduced to half. filter it and feed the child when it is warm.
give steam to the baby two times a day and also use nasal saline drops
