#AskTheExpert what could be the reason my toddler doesnt want to mingle in a group of other kids and plays well alone. Sometimes if shes used to them she plays together also she holds her things at preschool and doesnt allow others to touch is this normal

A. Depending on the age of your toddler, it is quite normal for them not to play with other children. This is because you are the main focus of your toddler's life. Only later will other children start to become interesting to your toddler, but even then they may not want to play with them immediately.
