ExpertPriyanka BhawalkarNutritionist3 years agoA. hey mom in order to start food for your 6 months old ,you can start with Rice and dal water, Vegtable purees ,Boiled and mashed potato,sweet potato,carrot, Pureed vegetables and fruits, porridges of raw or ragi ,mashed banana ,chicoo..start with 1 spoon 1 time in a day and gradually increase.Always remember a 3 days rule before introducing new foods like when u start with something continue the same food for 3 days and see if the baby is comfortable with that food and then you can introduce a new one.

Now your baby is six months old so you should start giving solids and water to your baby in starting few days give everything in a fluids form like them Ka Paani, rice water, vegetable soup, fruit smoothie and with the time you can increase the food item in babies regular diet plan and we we should take at least four meals in a day
