A. For skin tanning, applying natural and soothing ingredients can help lighten the tan and restore your skin tone. You can use aloe vera gel, curd with turmeric, or a mix of lemon juice and honey on the tanned areas. Apply for 15–20 minutes daily and rinse with lukewarm water. Also, use a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or more) every time you step out, even on cloudy days. For stubborn tanning, dermatologically tested de-tan creams containing ingredients like kojic acid, vitamin C, or licorice extract can be used. Always do a patch test before using any new product.
