Beas 0Mom of 2 children4 years agoA. Hi my 2 year old wasn’t speaking at all. We noticed this when she was 20 month old. We raised this issue with her paediatrician. She sent us to an ENT specialist and she did tests to rule out hearing issues. Then we met with a therapist who worked with her and told us that there is speech delay. We started talking a lot to her. Her school also has option of therapy. We started therapy with her. Over the past 3 months there has been enormous change. She is speaking atleast 30 words now and trying to form sentences.
Please don’t be over concerned. Milestones vary from child to child. However talking to your paediatrician will help you with your queries. Best of luck.

U Can’t take a consultation from your doctor regarding this if your child is in speaking at all then you should first consult an ENT doctor that way you will get to know what is the issue or there is no issue at all because mostly paediatricians if your child starts to speak up till the age of three years also it’s perfectly fine
