#asktheexpert sir my son has just completed 2 years on 27 April. in the series of vaccinations typhoid booster is supposed to be given at the age of 2 years. At this covid scenario can we delay the vaccine and if yes, untill how many days or months it can be postponed. Also pls suggest in this vaccine child gets fever or not. Thank You

A. A delay in vaccination is manageable. Having said that, it is important to administer deferred doses as soon as it is feasible. Missed vaccination puts the child at risk of contracting the disease the vaccine was meant to protect against
