#AskTheExpert sir Mera bacha ka laterine bahut hi hard hota hai laterine karte samay bahut hi pain hota hai aur 4-5fin par laterine karta hai mai local Dr se consult Kiya tha wo glycerine ka grl type ka laterine wala rastha me insert karne ke liye bole hai tab laterine tho jata hai magar phir se wahi pareshani hoti hai

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. normally hardness of the stool is not seen when you are giving only breastfeeding to the child.
it is advisable to continue only breastfeeding and nothing else till completion of 6 months of age.
if still the hard stool continues you have to visit the doctor to find the cause.
but if you are giving formula milk then there is a possibility that the milk is not properly digested by the child and you will have xto change the brand of formula milk.
also do not give any food to the child except milk at this age.
