yes ,it is normal
babies do this as self Soothing .
so no need to worry.
just give feeds as per your child requirements.
make sure your child get enough milk.
burp your baby well after each feeding.
remove your child hand from Mouth whenever he or she is doing this ,try to distract your child by giving toys.
