#AskTheExpert sir ekagra is 2 y 8 mnths old but he is not talking. when he was 9 months old, he was babbling and saying some common words like papa baba mama and this continued till 3 months and he repeat after me. but after that this becomes lesser. sir what should i do?

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. baby is 2 years Try to converse with your baby often reduce screen time encourage peer play if the problem perissts beyond 3 years of age kindly consult developmental pediatrician for proper examination and medication speech therapy may be required o k ay

are you giving screen exposures like tv , mobile, iPad etc?
if yes then please stop giving it .
it happens because of it.
please communicate with your child more
play different games, sing rhymes and read stories with your child,it will definitely help
but do not force your child and never expect perfection at a time.
don't overcorrect your child.
