#asktheexpert Should we give gripe water and Pacifiers to our 5 months old baby....?

A. Gripe water is also a medicine and has got Side Effects so avoid if possible and if you are using pacifier you have to maintain hygiene otherwise it can lead to infection source

A. Both are not advisable. Igripe water and bonison are isn't safe for babies now days. Those days the preparation was good and pure.. Nowdays preparation is not pure and it has alcohol content. Doctors too never recommend it. You can simply boil some jeera filter the water and give your baby. try to avoid pacifiers. Once if your baby gets used to it it's is difficult to stop it. Also the teeth alignment will have some problem. So it's Better to keep all these away and feed well your baby. So it's good to Avoid from the beginning.
