Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. kindly give syrup albendazole 5 ml to the child at night (first dose) and 5 ml after 14 days and if the problem still continues meet your doctor and get a stool examination which will help in diagnosis.
very important to maintain hygiene of the food and water as well as the the hygiene of the hands and everything which goes inside the mouth of the child otherwise the worms problem will occur again and again.d
it is usually uncommon for small children less than 2years to have worms problem

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Deworming medicine needs to be given routinely to every child after one year of age and the dose is 200 mg of albendazole once at night time and then repeat the same dose after 14 dguays once this cycle should be repeated every six months at least till 5 year of age but it is advisable to give this medicine only after taking guidance by your doctor
