ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. you can wear a mask and continue breastfeeding. but try to get medications immediately to avoid delay in recovery. breast milk contains lots of antibodies that build baby immunity and protect from all viral infections

Your baby won't catch the illness through your breast milk – in fact, it will contain antibodies to reduce her risk of getting the same bug. “Not only is it safe, breastfeeding while sick is a good idea.
