#asktheexpert she suffufing from fever n not to eat anything..what i can do?

A. Hello, your baby girl is 18 months old and she has a fever so her tongue taste buds are weak so she doesn’t eat properly just give her fruits juice

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging off the whole body with vtap water can be beneficial toho to bring the temperature down .

A. hello mom it is very important that you should consult with doctor for proper medication because it can be because of the infection also the proper medication is required loss of appetite is because of the infection it will get better and the child will start to eat so do not force but offer food again and again in small quantity
