A. Hi Mom, if your baby is active, happy and eating properly then nothing to worry. on an average, we can expect baby to gain about 500 gm to 700 gm in a month, double at 6 months and triple at the age of 1 year as compared to her birth weight. feed her variety of homecooked foods like smashed banana, boiled and smashed potato, sprouts and pulses, nuts paste, milk shakes, paneer, porridge, smashed roti or paratha, smashed khichdi, soft idli, pancake, etc and use ghee in her meal preparations. feed on regular intervals after 2 hours, maintain good hygiene, avoid force feeding and overfeeding

A. Hi dear mom. The weight of ur baby should be 7-10 kgs. If ur baby is active and playful then no need to worry about weight much. Give ghee, dry fruits, curd, avocado, ragi, sweet potato, rice, potatoes etc for weight gain
