Q.

#AskTheExpert she is having cold and cough since 10 days.. it subsided in a week but increasing again since 3 days.. i ve been giving haldo doodh and kadha on and off.. but it's been long.. kindly help

A. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time suppojfrtive treatment is given. along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given. steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

A. If your baby has a cold with no complications, it should resolve within 10 to 14 days. Most colds are simply a nuisance. But it's important to take your baby's signs and symptoms seriously. If symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, it's time to talk to your doctor.
