A. Influenza vaccine or the flu vaccine is basically a vaccine which protects against different strains of flu viruses including swine Flu virus which causes symptoms specially in children because of less immunity. Though it is not a mandatory vaccine but it should be given to every child to protect against different flu infection which is very common every year . this vauiccine is given after 6 months of age and initially two doses are griven one month apart then every year single dose is required . It is not documented but still studies suggest that to some extent it may give partial protection against covid infection .

A. hello yes it should be given after the baby complete 6 months first and then after the child complete one year and then on every year it would be given so better to check with your doctor and get the vaccination done for the child which would be better and safe
