Q.
#AskTheExpert : seen baby was popping with green motion today ? is there anything to worry? baby is being given breast feeding and nestum every day.

it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Green coloured Motions are normally seen in babies and commonly it may be due to less feed intake , or formula milk feeding.
if the baby is passing motion frequently in a day and the colour of the motion is ranging from light yellow to dark green or brown it may be considered as normal in such a case only frequent feeding and exclusive breastfeeding is suggested.+
If it is associated with mucous, are watery and have bad smell then there could be some infection, also so if there are any other associated problem like fever ,vomiting then you should consult your doctor .
